This is Stainless Steel version of the OEM clutch fork pivot pin used in manual transmission BMW's 1992 and newer. Can be used in virtually all BMW manual transmissions.
The stainless steel pivot pin replaces the plastic pin which can wear over time. They also can break during clutch installation or with a heavy duty clutch. An excellent cheap upgrade when going to a high pressure clutch.
Remove your old, worn out plastic pin by prying it out with a screwdriver or pulling it out with pliers. Then, simply place this brass pivot pin the transmission and give it a gentle tap to set it in place.
